About Us
Kim Sajet joined the Historical Society of Pennsylvania as President and CEO in April 2007. Formerly the Senior Vice President at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and the Director of Corporate Development at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Ms. Sajet has over twenty years of experience in non-profit management.
Ms. Sajet holds a Masters Degree in Art History from Bryn Mawr College, a Bachelor of Arts from Melbourne University, a Graduate Diploma in Museum Management from Deakin University (Melbourne), and an MBA from the University of Melbourne Business School. Ms. Sajet has also attended the Getty Foundation’s Museum Leadership Institute, and published on topics of American art and history.
Ms. Sajet is currently a member of Mayor Nutter’s Cultural Advisory Board, serves on the Avenue of the Arts, Inc., and is Chair of the Civil War History Consortium representing over sixty organizations working together to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
