TABOR Alert: December 8, 2005

See all TABOR information

DON’T WAIT!
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY ON MAKING 3 IMPORTANT PHONE CALLS!

Did you receive our first alert on TABOR but thought you should contact your legislators later? Well, here are a few other things you should think about. Think about what you will lose if you lose your state funding. Think about what will happen if it takes a vote by Pennsylvania residents to get your funding back. This is what will happen if the Pennsylvania Legislature passes the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR). Now are you still thinking about not calling your legislators today?

Pick up the phone RIGHT NOW and make 3 very important phone calls. It will take you less than 10 minutes to save yourself lots of funding heartaches.

Call Governor Rendell at (717) 787-2500 and urge him to VETO all bills associated with the Taxpayer Bill of Rights in Pennsylvania.

Call your State Senator and your State Representative.
Urge your State Senator to vote NO on Senate Bills 884 and 4.
Urge your State Representative to vote NO on House Bills 2082 and 2067.

The Voting Records for our 5-county area show that all Republicans with the exception of Representatives George Kenney (R-170), Dennis O’Brien (R-169), Bernard O’Neill (R-29), and John Taylor (R-177) have voted yes to TABOR House bill 2082. If you are a constituent of one of the following legislators, call them immediately, and urge them to Vote NO on TABOR legislation.
