Cultural Alliance membership is open to organizations that are:

• classified by the IRS as a 501( c )(3) nonprofit organization;
• governed by a board of directors or advisory board;
• focused on providing one or more of the following services:
  • Operating a museum, library or cultural attraction;
  • Presenting visual or performing arts;
  • Teaching one or more art forms or arts administration at a higher learning institution;
  • Conducting cultural education or research.

10 Reasons Your Organization Should Be a Cultural Alliance Member

1. Advocating for arts and culture by encouraging favorable funding and policy. You can best do this by joining us in our advocacy missions to meet with legislators and other elected officials to raise awareness of issues critical to the cultural sector.
