Career Visions
Outplacement Services and Career Counseling
To assist members and their employees during the current recession, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance is offering a subsidized outplacement package. Working with Career Visions, a highly respected local firm with strong ties to the nonprofit community, the Alliance has arranged for member organizations that are going through downsizing to provide practical, compassionate assistance to employees who will lose their jobs. The program is designed as a series of five personalized sessions for the employee at significantly subsidized rates. It is expected that the organization will offer the outplacement services as part of a separation package.
Career Visions’ Outplacement Services consist of in-person, telephone and Email coaching and support during the transition and job search. They will help the employee reduce the stress and length of the job search by helping to design and implement an effective plan. The employee will receive a comprehensive career assessment and assistance with resume development, interview skills and job search strategy. While they do not place individuals in a new position, they do maintain an informal job bank of current employment opportunities. Counseling sessions provided to clients are confidential.
