With its scheduled renovations the world-class venue will reaffirm the landmark's symbolic status as the heart of Temple University and will provide a venue for entertainment and inspiration. The Baptist Temple will not only serve the evolving needs of Temple's Main Campus, but will also to anchor the University as the northernmost point of Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts; further demonstrating the University's commitment to the arts and encouraging future development in the North Philadelphia community. Cultural Alliance membership gives organizations a voice in determining the future of the arts and cultural industry in the Greater Philadelphia region, while also providing them with direct services that increase income, expand capacity or decrease cost.

The Cultural Alliance wants to ensure that the Greater Philadelphia area will become a place where people are passionately involved in and supportive of arts and culture, and the region will be admired throughout the world for its quality of life and the opportunities it provides for diverse cultural experiences and creativity. to speak with the collective voice of a community that is
unparalled nationwide.
