Can You Tap into Cultural Engagement?

(March 24, 2009) - The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance on Friday launched what they’re calling the Cultural Engagement Index (CEI).
The Cultural Alliance takes a holistic approach with this project, measuring not just attendance at concerts and museums, but also arts and crafts festivals, and church services that include singing or praise dancing. It looks at individual and group activities like playing a musical instrument and taking part in community theater, as well as exploring ethnic heritage, cooking, and gardening. It also looks at civic involvement.
