A stimulus for the arts

(July 13, 2009) - More stimulus money is on the way to Philadelphia – this time for starving arts and cultural organizations. The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance received a $250,000 grant that it will distribute to between five and 15 nonprofit groups struggling amid the economic downturn, said executive director Peggy Amsterdam.
