Arts and the City Seminar Series: Cities and the Creative Economy
Presented by: The Penn Institute for Urban Research
Join Penn IUR for the third and final seminar in the series. This panel discussion will identify how cities can build a creative economy and use the arts as a tool for economic development. Panelists include city arts and culture directors, as well as heads of major arts institutions and organizations who will share lessons learned in creating policies that have successfully built and supported creative economies.
This event is co-hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and Next American City magazine and is part of the 2010 Next American Vanguard conference.
