Kennett Area Senior Center | $2,562
The Living History Storytelling Project is a weekly reminiscence theater program that helps seniors revive their memories while strengthening mental and physical abilities, developing coping skills and building friendships.

Kennett After-School Association | $2,295
The Kennett After-School Association will use their grant to support and artist-in-residence activity during After-The-Bell, an after-school program for middle school students who attend Kennett Middle School that instills respect for self and others, caring relationships with adults, improvement of interpersonal and social behaviors, and appreciation for volunteerism.

Renaissance Academy | $2,381
Renaissance Academy students will present two full length ballets throughout 2010-2011, one of which will be an original production.

The Project Stream grants program is made possible through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. They are funded by the citizens of Pennsylvania through an annual legislative appropriation, and adminstered locally by the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Additional support for this program is provided by PECO.
