List Co-Op

Morris ArboretumThe List Co-Op helps your organization grow its impact by providing tools that help you better understand your current audience and identify and reach potential new audiences. This program also provides knowledge and instruction on ways to develop deeper relationships with your audiences through strategic direct marketing.

The main features of the List Co-Op are:

  • List Trading with other Cultural Organizations
The List Co-Op gives you access to over 2 million culturally active households and simplifies the list trading process with other cultural organizations. Each organization maintains 100% control of their data through our permission based request process.
  • Understanding current audiences to find new audiences
The List Co-Op provides you with tools to help you better understand your audiences. By better understanding where your audiences are coming from and what activities they enjoy, you can better target new audiences to engage in your activities.
  • Best practices in data management
All of the data in the List Co-Op is run through the US Post Offices’ National Change of Address (NCOA) on a quarterly basis which reduces the number of returned pieces you receive back from a mailing and keeps you compliant with new regulations regarding standard bulk mail postage.

You can upload new patron data on an ongoing basis for free. After each performance, exhibition, or event you can add your new patrons to the List Co-Op for free so you can include them in future mailings, but also to get demographic information about them.

  • Its Free and Easy to Join!
The List Co-Op is free and the only requirements to participate are - you must be a member of the Cultural Alliance, have at least one list segment available for trade at all times, and that you respond to list requests in a timely manner.
