The Cultural Alliance occasionally posts opportunities submitted by its members and partners. Submissions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are posted at the discretion of Cultural Alliance staff. Half-price ticket offers, entertainment events, and professional development worskhops are not considered opportunities and will not be posted in this section.

Submit a project proposal for the 2013 PHS Pop Up Garden!
June 18, 2013

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society's third annual Pop Up Garden opened May 20 at the lot at 313 S. Broad Street on the University of the Arts’ campus. PHS is working with the University of the Arts and other partners to coordinate performances and programs for the garden. The project proposal submission process is open to any interested parties, with special request for those from the UArts community: faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

Art Along the Avenue of Technology RFQ - Deadline June 21!

Breadboard is launching a dynamic public art residency program called Art Along the Avenue of Technology (AAAT), to explore the intersection of Art and Technology along the corridor of Market Street west of 30th Street, which in 1998 was designated as the Avenue of Technology. Art Along the Avenue of Technology will engage a diverse range of community groups in the Greater Philadelphia region around an innovative artist residency program that will explore contemporary themes of public space, place-making and technology in an urban environment. Through Art Along the Avenue of Technology, Breadboard will host one artist/collective in 2014.

Little Berlin Fairgrounds Accepting Submissions!

The Little Berlin Fairgrounds is an outdoor art and garden space located in a previously vacant lot in East Kensington, right next door to the Little Berlin gallery. The Little Berlin Fairgrounds Project is looking for new additions of sculpture and other outdoor installations of art work during the 2013 season, and is accepting submissions on an ongoing basis.
