The Brandywine River Museum has several items from their recent gala which they would like to send to a good home. Suggested prices are listed, and several items are free. Anyone interested in the items would have to pick them up at the Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford.

23 Custom-Made Tables That Look Like Giant Artist Palettes
Each table seats 10 comfortably and is made of cabinet-grade birch with a matte finish (looks like a raw wood palette but can withstand food spills). Each table comes in two pieces which lock together from below and has folding legs for easy storage. Asking price is $200/table,  however would be willing to entertain other offers if an organization wanted to purchase multiple tables.

Hot Wire Cutter to use on the polystyrene (polystyrene available for free below).
Retail price for wire cutter is $1,000; it was used only for the props for this event. Asking price is $400.

Oversized Easel
One 14' working easel made of cedar. Asking price is $100.

FREE items up for grab:

  • 10'x4'x4' uncut block of polystyrene ("styrofoam"). FREE.
  • Various large pieces of polystyrene that were cut away from blocks like the one described above. FREE.
  • A very large cylinder made of wood
8 feet high, 6 feet in diameter. We used it as a giant "coffee can" and filled it with oversized paintbrushes, etc. It's very heavy and extremely well built, and has a "floor" about halfway up inside. FREE.
  • Two 48" cubes made of "gold" framing material
We used them to make edible still lifes—people could reach into the still life for shrimp, cheese, and other appetizers. FREE.
