The event will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. Our theme for this year’s gathering is “Standing Together: Arts and Culture in Solidarity.” Join us for an evening to celebrate the power, resilience, and unity of Greater Philadelphia’s arts and culture community!

Every year, the Cultural Alliance’s Annual Meeting & Arts Party is the night when hundreds of artists, cultural leaders, creative entrepreneurs, and supporters from across the region come together to celebrate, collaborate, and look ahead. You’ll hear updates on our advocacy and other initiatives that are crucial to the vitality of our sector—especially, during these challenging times. Get a sneak peek at what’s next, and enjoy regionally inspired food and drinks from 12th Street Catering while mingling with friends old and new.

In addition, the night will feature special performances curated by ArtPhilly. We’re thrilled to welcome singer/songwriter Laurin Talese and Elevator Machine Room, whose artistry will set the tone for an inspiring evening.

Laurin Talese has been captivating audiences with her pure tone and poignant lyrics since childhood. A Cleveland native and University of the Arts alum, Laurin’s debut album Gorgeous Chaos earned critical acclaim for its soulful blend of jazz and storytelling.

Elevator Machine Room has been spinning turntables since 2022, blending funk, punk, and other junk into sets that light up Philly’s favorite venues—including Johnny Brenda’s, Trestle Inn, and North Bowl.

• 7:30-10:00 p.m. | Arts Party in Dinosaur Hall and North American Hall with networking, music, wine and beer, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
