The Cultural Alliance is partnering with the Office of Strategic Partnerships at the School District of Philadelphia to make sure that all cultural organizations that currently serve Philadelphia schoolchildren are counted in the Office's Partnerships Census.

The Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy Celebrates A+ Art Exhibit!

This past Thursday, September 18, the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE) partnered with the Philadelphia School District and Blick Art Materials to host its fall exhibition, A+ Art in the Art Gallery at City Hall. As a result of this partnership, During the event Blick Art Materials will donate $15,000 worth of gift cards to the 23 participating schools to purchase materials for their art classes!

PEACE DAY PHILLY 2014

In honor of International Peace Day, Sonia Sanchez, famed poet, playwright, and activist, Sonia Sanchez is hosting Footprints of Peace, a celebration of peace to be held this Sunday, September 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Penn Museum.

Art-Reach Launches ACCESS Admission Program

Beginning this fall, ACCESS Cardholders (Pennsylvania residents who monitor their government issued cash and food benefits with an EBT card) are invited to visit museums, science centers, gardens and historic sites at a deeply discounted rate. ACCESS cardholders can get admission to participating venues for just $2.

September is Double Points Month for STAMP

Year 2 of STAMP is officially underway, and the more than 11,000 teens enrolled in STAMP can now use their STAMP pass at a total of 15 museums around the city. If you know a teen with a STAMP Pass, be sure they check out all the new museums and earn double STAMP Bucks points for each visit they make in September!
