Recap: 2015 Cultural Cabinet Annual Reception

On June 4, over 80 individuals, including civic and business leaders as well as representatives from Philadelphia's cultural sector, gathered for the the two-year anniversary of the Cultural Cabinet to celebrate the tremendous work accomplished in and for our region's cultural sector. The reception was held at the beautiful Center City home of Cultural Cabinet members Ajay and Pamela Raju.

Memorial Bench Dedicated for Cultural Advocates Greg Rowe and Peggy Amsterdam

Greg Rowe and Peggy Amsterdam collaborated on many of Philadelphia's most significant cultural initiatives from 2000 to 2009, when Greg led the local Culture program at The Pew Charitable Trusts and Peggy served as the Executive Director of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Their commitment to the arts shaped their lives and sadly, the community lost them both too soon. To honor their memory, a bench has been placed at The Morris Arboretum.
