Two Partnerships to Help Your Fundraising Efforts

At the Cultural Alliance, we’ve been thinking a lot about the findings from 2015 Portfolio: Culture Across Communities and what we can do to bolster our strengths and address our weaknesses as a sector. One of those findings, in particular, stands out. 

Individuals are key!

Culture Across Communities revealed that individuals provide 45% of the sector’s income through a combination of contributions and earned revenue. But at the same time, individual giving (not counting board giving) declined 9.7%. 

So, how can we make an impact here?

The Cultural Alliance has established partnerships that can help our members strengthen their fundraising efforts. The first is our ongoing partnership with the Association of Fundraising Professionals — Greater Philadelphia Chapter. Through this partnership, members of the Cultural Alliance receive 25-50% off all AFP-GPC events. We’re also presenting a joint workshop about strategic agility in fundraising on June 22. The Cultural Alliance is also proud to announce a new partnership with the online prospect research tool, DonorSearch, to help arts and culture organizationslarge and smalincrease their fundraising capacity.
