Education and Accessible Art Intern

Main Line Art Center

Main Line Art Center seeks an intern to assist with administrative functions in regards to Educational and Exceptional Art Programs (EA program for those with special needs). The Intern will assist with all aspects of developing educational arts programming for all ages. Dates and times of the internship are flexible, and a commitment of at least 3-6 months are expected. The Education Intern will work for at least 8 hours a week and assist with day to day department activities, as well as special projects. Longer term internships are encouraged. 

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills and an eye for details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office required
Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks at once, and adhere to deadlines
Strong interest in art and experience working in an arts non-profit organization preferred
Some experience working with children or those with special needs preferred
