Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance

TechniCulture

Save the date for Tuesday, May 2 for our annual TechniCulture event during Philly Tech Week!

The goals of the TechniCulture initiative are to deepen relationships between the cultural and tech communities; to encourage and inspire cultural organizations to think more innovatively and entrepreneurially; and to celebrate our region's bourgeoning tech resources.
We work towards that goal by engaging a committee of leaders working primarily outside of arts and culture.  The committee guides and gives vision to the initiative.  We conjure a sprit of entrepreneurialism and experimentation by launching projects like the TechniCulture Residency Awards which placed a resident technologist into 3 cultural organizations.  We curate an annual program in conjunction with Philly Tech Week for a broad public audience.  Attendees include cultural workers and individuals from the tech community.

If you have questions about the TechniCulture Initiative please contact Michael Norris at michaeln@philaculture.org.
