Background: PCCY is one of the lead organizations in our region when it comes to advocating for healthcare and public education rights for children and families. The PCCY Picasso Project was created in 2002 "to increase arts education opportunities for students in the School District of Philadelphia and improve the capacity of schools to provide arts education experiences."

Eligibility: Staff at public (District–managed and charter) schools with no more than 2 full-time arts teachers may apply on their own or in partnership with community based organizations, artists and arts organizations. Your school may have no more than a TOTAL of 2 full time arts teachers combined if you add together all teachers in art, music, drama, dance and digital media.

Grant Application Support: A school or community representative for each proposed project must attend a Grant Support Workshop or Conference Call before applying.

The Grant Deadline is Thursday, November 13, at midnight.
