“Thanks to Funsavers Package Deals, family trips to attractions like Adventure Aquarium and The Franklin Institute don’t have to be just a one-time treat,” says Cultural Alliance VP of Marketing and Communications John McInerney. “We’re thrilled to partner with so many organizations to offer these unique savings to our loyal Funsavers subscribers, as well as new families and arts lovers who may be learning about Phillyfunguide and Funsavers for the first time.”

Purchasing memberships to your children's favorite cultural attraction can add up to big savings. This year, The Franklin Institute is offering Dual Memberships at 35% off, which include unlimited admission to the museum, Fels Planetarium and SkyBike, plus exclusively discounted admission to ticketed traveling exhibitions, Tuttleman IMAXÆ films and more. Adventure Aquarium is also offering deep discounts, with a Package Deal for 30% off their popular Family Explorer Plus Annual Pass, which provides perks including unlimited admission for 2 adults, up to 4 children and 2 guests with each visit.

Theatre lovers also score big, with discounts on subscriptions to Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, Act II Playhouse, 1812 Productions and more. Many theatre packages even include perks beyond just tickets: For example, the Package Deal for Annual Membership with FringeArts includes 30% off 2014 Fringe Festival shows and all year-round shows; 50% off select performances; priority access to tickets and seats; admission to artist receptions; and food/drink specials at La Peg, the new restaurant at FringeArts. In total, 19 theatre Package Deals are offered, from blockbuster companies to neighborhood and alternative theaters.

Frequent museum visitors can get Package Deals on discount memberships to top Philadelphia institutions like the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, Independence Seaport Museum, and Shofuso Japanese House and Garden. Thanks to Package Deals memberships, repeat visits to your favorite museums are more affordable than ever.

Music lovers are covered as well, from tastes in opera to indie rock. Opera Philadelphia is offering 35% off subscriptions to its Friday series at the Academy of Music for the company’s 40th Anniversary Season, and local radio favorite WXPN is offering 50% off one year of membership, which includes a free Live at the World Cafe CD.

“Funsavers Package Deals make season tickets, memberships and subscriptions a lot more accessible,” says Cultural Alliance Interim Executive Director Michael Norris. “For the cultural community, it’s a win-win: They get to give something back to the community in the form of these exclusive offers, and in turn new audiences and cultural enthusiasts are introduced to their organization.”

The Funsavers Package Deals promotion runs on Phillyfunguide through September 24, 2014.
