Elizabeth Estrada

Elizabeth joined the Cultural Alliance in January of 2018 as the Digital Communications Coordinator. She is a first generation Cuban-American who has focused her nonprofit career on working at the intersection of media, art and diversity. In addition to her work at the Cultural Alliance, Elizabeth is also a Producer at PhillyCAM’s bilingual show, Atrévete, an Intern at WHYY’s The Pulse, a Writer for the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and is developing her own podcast. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked at Firelight Media and New York Women in Film & Television, producing events around the country and supporting mediamakers.

Elizabeth received her M.A. in Media Studies with a concentration in Social Media and Social Change from The New School and her B.S. from Ithaca College, where she studied Television-Radio Production and Sociology. Originally from Queens, New York, Elizabeth is now based in Philadelphia, where you can find her exploring the city’s art and culture scene.
