School and Youth Associate

This position will collaborate with Longwood staff and volunteers to ensure world-class delivery of Longwood’s school & youth programs.  Position responsibilities include supporting our K12 Programs by registering and managing guests for School and Youth Programs, communicating and managing K12 Educator work schedules, managing day to day Siriusware reports, communicating with school groups and Longwood staff, processing welcome packets/tickets as need for programs/events, managing applications for Children’s Christmas Trees and communication with chosen schools, managing applications for the Teen Volunteer Program, and assisting with organization of materials used for School and Youth Programs. This individual will also process School & Youth grants for Title I schools, and support our virtual classroom, summer camps, and teacher professional development by processing registrations and communicating with guests.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and oral communication skills, and have strong attention to detail and logical thinking skills. Must have experience with scheduling software and point of sale systems; Bachelor’s degree is preferred, teaching experience is a plus.
