Manager of Executive Correspondences

The Franklin Institute, the most visited museum in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, seeks a Manager of Corporate Communications to lead and support the development of all internal and external communications for the President and Chief Executive Officer. This individual will oversee any needed preparation of executive letters, speeches, and other communications materials, including Board of Trustees reports and meeting materials. This position is responsible for working closely with the Institute’s design team on the production of the Annual Report and other high-quality publications.  

Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and at least 5 years related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and careful attention to details. Ability to craft messages and present information in a compelling and effective manner. Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize projects effectively. Excellent command of the English language with superior writing and editing skills. Ability to be effective working independently and as part of a team. Resourceful, independent problem-solver. Strategic and creative thinker. Availability to work evenings and weekends, as necessary. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
