Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Ticket Philadelphia, Part-time

The Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Ticket Philadelphia manages the daily support and operational functions of the office. This position requires an individual with highly developed organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills and advanced computer skills including some data entry and mail merges. Qualified candidate will have a demonstrated ability to prioritize issues and requests, respond appropriately to multiple audiences, and understand the importance of assuring the highest level of confidentiality.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage the calendar of the Vice President
  • Maintain timelines with regard to project requests
  • Prepare written correspondences
  • Maintain address book
  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of Ticket Philadelphia Board meetings
  • Maintain institutional files
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
  • Availability for evening and weekend events

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area required.
  • Two to Three years previous working experience required.
  • A combination of education and work experience.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:                                                                                                     

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software.
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills required.
  • Great interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of completing assignments required.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and balance several issues and projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, objectivity, diplomacy, tact and professionalism at all times.
  • Knowledge of the performing arts venues, and/or non-profit arts organizations a plus.

Part time 20-25 hours week
