DIGITAL CONTENT PRODUCER

The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) has a position opening for a Digital Content Producer (DCP).  Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position is responsible for the creation of digital assets for PAFA in order to execute upon the general marketing strategy of the institution to achieve the business objectives of the organization: to increase reputation; to increase enrollment for the School’s programs; to boost giving and contributions; to increase attendance to the Museum and to support other revenue streams. This includes photos, videos, digital copy, blogs, web pages, and other assets, as required. These assets will be used to advance the dual mission of the School and Museum, using a variety of distribution methods including the website, social media platforms and emails. The position will act as project manager for PAFA’s online marketing efforts. S/he will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships throughout the institution. S/he will work with senior management to identify and manage freelancers, if required. Must develop and adhere to timelines for projects, as well as maintain accuracy and currency of assets on the website and other online marketing assets.

This position will create and develop stories using video, blogs, and photos. S/he will coordinate with various staff, faculty, alumni and students for interviews. S/he will also advise and assist with producing digital assets for the website, develop and maintain a well-organized visual data bank to be used in print, digital, and all platforms; assist with enhancing the functionality of both websites and other multimedia outreach efforts, including video content, email marketing, and mobile marketing. Additionally, this position will evaluate and report on new social media platforms in which to engage, research and report on online opportunities to promote PAFA, and track and report on site metrics through Google Analytics.  Ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualified candidates  will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications or related field. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years digital marketing experience and have experience with video, photography, and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. S/he will be expected to have excellent organizational, written and oral communications skills.
