Marketing AssociateMARKETING ASSOCIATE: ENDLESS ARTS IN EAGLES MERE Endless Arts in Eagles Mere is seeking a marketing associate to assist in planning, developing and implementing its 2018 marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities. Endless Arts is a hands-on arts education program situated in an historic village in the beautiful Endless Mountains of north central Pennsylvania. Endless Arts, which launched in 2017, is modeled after the Chautauqua that operated in Eagles Mere in the late 1890’s. Endless Arts sold out all of its workshops in 2017 and plans to nearly double the number of workshops this year. It will include three-day, two-day, and one-day workshops in writing, “out loud” storytelling, mosaic, drawing, creative bookmaking, air dry clay sculpting and jazz appreciation and will run from September 20-23, 2018. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drafting communications to foster recognition of Endless Arts and participation in its programming Updating the webpage, as needed Overseeing development and production and handling distribution of printed materials Assisting with social media placements Developing content and placement of articles for other Eagles Mere organizations such as The Treetop Eagle, the Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts (EMFA), Nature Conservancy and Next Do Developing and maintaining a presence in local media outlets and other arts-related organizations including The Sullivan County Review, Williamsport Sun-Gazette, The Sullivan County Council on the Arts Coordinating marketing opportunities with our partner organizations Helping build our email list through our work with partner organizations, past participants, artist instructors, and others Drafting regular email blasts to stay in touch with past participants, and build enthusiasm among others Assisting with pre-Endless Arts promotional events at the Eagles Mere Antique Fair and Arts and Crafts Festival Preparing and sending pre-event informational emails to registrants Preparing registration packets to distribute to registrants Assisting on site during Endless Arts Preparing and distributing participant survey and producing a summary report Preparing thank you letters for participants, instructors, volunteers and donors Part time, averaging 10-15 hours/week - mid-May to mid-October Reports to Endless Arts Marketing Chairperson Remote work possible, but requires presence in Eagles Mere approximately once/month and during the weekend of Endless Arts Stipend - $4,000

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the arts, be well-organized but flexible, and will have strong writing skills, knowledge of media relations, experience with event management, print production, and the use of social media.
