What keeps you engaged and passionate when it comes to arts and culture?
As someone who spent my youth in France and Italy, I grew up with an appreciation for the arts. When moving to the Philadelphia Area in 2004, I was able to become involved volunteering for the Pennsylvania Ballet and later a trustee.  I have helped rejuvenate the Ballet’s volunteer corps, in addition, to help support (and often co-chair) many of our development events. I believe it is important that arts and culture are easily accessible to everyone.

What do you find most valuable about being Cultural Cabinet member?
As a member of the Cultural Cabinet, I can learn more about other cultural institutions in Philadelphia and facilitate in forming natural connections amongst the institutions.  Although my passion is with the ballet, I enjoy all types of arts and believe children and adults should be exposed to as many different forms as possible.
