Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance

Congrats to the 2018 Bloomberg Arts Internship Philadelphia Participants

Fifty rising high school seniors completed on Friday, August 10, the 2018 Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) with an event at the National Museum of American Jewish History. BAI, a Cultural Alliance program generously funded by the Bloomberg Philanthropies, places 50 public high school students at arts and culture organizations ranging from Academy of Natural Sciences to the Village of Arts and Humanities for a professional experience like no other. The fully paid, seven week internship includes site visits to arts and culture institutions in the city and weekly professional development sessions led by the Alliance and its project partner, Philadelphia Young Playwrights. The Alliance and PYP also joined thirty organizations in serving as worksites for the program; worksites receive a stipend for their work in intern hosting and mentorship. If you would like to serve as a worksite for BAI in 2019, email Grant Manager Tom Bonner at tomb@philaculture.org
