Operations Manager

Under the supervision of Fleisher’s executive director, you will coordinate operational details to ensure that delivery of Fleisher’s educational programs are of the highest quality, consistent with the goals and objectives outlined in Fleisher’s strategic plan. You are a member of Fleisher’s management team, meeting bi-weekly to share operational matters with your colleagues. You will supervise operational support staff, including the Registrar, Studio Technician, Visitor Services staff, and quarterly IT contractors.

You will be the main point-of-contact to ensure that the needs of faculty, models, teaching assistants, and studio monitors are met with professionalism, efficiency, and grace.

With members of the facilities team, the Operations Manager handles safety and security for the school including trainings, signage, policy and procedure updates, and annual drills. This role support Human Resources with recruitment, onboarding, and training new staff. You will be Fleisher’s point person with our Human Resources team at the Museum.

The Operations Manager position requires similar skill sets as an Office Manager: it requires a highly organized person with strong communication skills, financial acumen, and excellent attention to detail. Must have flexible hours: generally, hours are 11-7 during weekday and 8-4 on Saturdays during the term, with flexibility to accommodate key times for registration and end-of-term surveys. During non-school hours between terms, there is flexibility with hours.
