Head Flyperson

Walnut Street Theatre, America's oldest and the most subscribed-to theatre company in the world, is seeking an experienced Head Flyperson for the remainder of its 2019-2020 season.  WST produces a five-show main stage season consisting of three musicals and two straight plays, as well as a five-show children’s series. WST is a historic building with a hemp fly system. Primary responsibilities include: safely loading in all flown scenery and electrics; running technical rehearsals and performances; and other duties as assigned.  Candidate must be able to work closely with designers, management, and other onstage departments.  This is a full-time, seasonal, IATSE position with excellent salary that begins asap (with an 8-week probationary period).  If not already a member of IATSE Local 8, candidate will join the union.
