Digital Marketing and Promotions ManagerDEPARTMENT: MARKETING POSITION: Digital Marketing and Promotions Manager FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt POSITION TYPE: Temp-to-Hire full time REPORTS TO: General Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Digital Marketing & Promotions Manager is responsible to plan, develop and execute the digital marketing strategy based on data analyses to increase brand awareness, reputation, patron engagement and lead generation. This position is also the marketing liaison to the dancers. This position interacts regularly with Marketing and Development, Community Engagement, Karma Agency, the School, Artistic and PBII staff. Responsibilities Develop and implement the online and social media strategy for the PA Ballet Company, Community Engagement, School and PBII Responsible for social media creation, scheduling and posting for all aspects of the Company, Community Engagement, School and PBII, obtaining proofreading approvals Create, post and select photos with Artistic Director approval for all social media Review, edit, suppress, and respond to replies left on social media Maintain and update websites [experience with WordPress desired, not required] Write, design, create and distribute digital newsletters for school Pull email lists from Tessitura and create, schedule, distribute group emails using WordFly Work with Karma Agency to plan, organize, and execute promotional appearances and opportunities to raise awareness of Pennsylvania Ballet, its productions, activities, and dancers Manage Social Media Calendar scheduling Foster positive relationships with and knowledge of dancers and artistic staff to recommend most appropriately to promotional opportunities Create and execute appropriate promotions for individual ballets Collect and organize approved photo assets for use by all departments Understand and comply with AGMA regulations for photography and dancer appearances Required Skills and Experience Minimum 3-4 years’ work experience in digital marketing preferably within the non-profit arts industry, particularly dance Demonstrated experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns Solid knowledge of website, marketing analytics and CMS tools (WordPress, WordFly, Drupal, Vimeo OTT) Knowledge of and experience using Tessitura Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis Proficient in working with ad serving tools Excellent social media skills Excellent Project Management skills Excellent writing and proofreading skills Ability to create and maintain client relationships Ability to develop and design around current company brand guidelines Self-motivated and customer-focused Familiar with financial planning and strategy Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines Excellent attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field CONTACT INFORMATION: To apply for this position, please send a resume, cover letter to jobs@paballet.org.
