Historic Property CaretakerThe caretaker/s will provide landscaping, housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance for the entire property, including the Meeting House, Friends Hall, Caretaker’s House, out-buildings, horse sheds, and burial ground. This position requires working outdoors year-round. They should be efficient workers who can perform physically demanding tasks. The caretaker/s receives rent-free housing (excluding utilities) in a 3-1/2-bedroom, 2-bathroom 1805 house located in the Lower Merion Township School District. The caretakers’ responsibilities allow for outside work by one or both, and the division of labor can be self-determined. Housing has a value of $3,500 per month. Education Level Qualified candidates must have experience in landscaping, ground care, and property maintenance, as well as being preservation-minded and physically able.
