Directors Needed for Children's Musicals

Wolf Performing Arts Center is a non-profit theatre organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young people through educational theater.  Read more about our organization and programming at www.wolfperformingartscenter.org.

We are looking for directors for two of our fall/winter productions: Newsies JR and Annie KIDS.

 

Director for Newsies JR for grades 5th & 6th from September -  January on Tuesdays from 5PM - 7PM. 

Looking for a director to work with a cast of approximately 30 5th & 6th grade students on their production of Newsies JR!  This person must be comfortable directing and guiding a wide variety of student learners and have familiarity with putting on a stage production. This person will collaborate with a choreographer and music director to put this production onstage.

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 5-7pm from September through January at our location in Bryn Mawr.  Additional rehearsals and performances in January will be held at the Benchmark School in Media, PA.

Position pays $41/hour and will be approximately 41.5 hours of work.

 

Director for Annie KIDS for grades 3rd & 4th from September - January on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4:30PM - 6PM (two separate casts)

Looking for a director to work with a cast of approximately 30 3rd & 4th grade students on their production of Annie KIDS!  This person must be comfortable directing and guiding a wide variety of student learners and have familiarity with putting on a stage production. This person will collaborate with a choreographer and music director to put this production onstage. 

Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays (two separate casts of the show) from 4:30-6pm from September through January at our location in Bryn Mawr.  Additional rehearsals and performances in January will be held at the Haverford College in Haverford, PA.

Position pays $41/hour and will be approximately 38 hours of work per cast (76 total).
