Director of Development and Marketing

The Arts League is looking for a full time position managing our grants and donorship and marketing efforts.  

Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and nurture grants for specific programs as well as entire operations.
  • Coordinate donor campaigns and maintain donor relationships through an online database.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns supporting specific programs as well as the entire operation.  

Expectations:

  • Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, and some special event shifts will be required and some light lifting or cleaning to support facility maintenance.  
  • Position is on-site at 4226 Spruce Street and in a building with stairs
  • Displayed success being awarded $100,000 in grant funding per year.  
  • Displayed success achieving $50,000 in individual donations annually.
  • Execution of one marketing campaign per season.  

Criteria:

  • No education level required.
  • 2 years minimum of successful development experience, be able to offer a reference to vouch for development success.
  • 1 year of marketing experience, be able to show a marketing campaign you came up with and executed, be able to offer one reference who can vouch for marketing abilities. 

Details:

  • $48-50,000/yr and after annual performance reviews will go up 3-5%.  
  • A health care package subsidized at 60% by The Arts League.
  • Ten days of paid time off after 6 months.  
  • Ten days of paid sick time after 6 months (can be taken consecutively with PTO).
  • A five day paid break used for admin enrichment that can be taken non-consecutively to PTO.  
  • A free six week class per session and 50% off for friends and family (one per session).  
  • Unlimited studio use, commission-less vending and rental use (when not being used by classes).
