Administrative Assistant: Dept of Theatre and Dance, Rowan University College of the ArtsJob no: 501044 Summary: This position provides clerical support to the Department of Theatre and Dance. Primary Duties: Maintain departmental budgets, track payments and purchases, create purchase orders, maintain purchasing card transaction log. Initiate and process all budget-related forms and reimbursements. Serve as secretary and office manager Field facility/space requests. Collect syllabi. Field calls from prospective and current students. Hire, train and supervise student workers. Attend department meetings and compile meeting minutes. Draft and track special assignments, contracts, and hiring materials for students, artists and faculty. Assist with faculty travel requests and make hotel arrangements for guest artists and faculty searches. Assist with tracking incoming student auditions. Process maintenance and repair requests for the department. Order and maintain office supplies, files, and storage spaces. Assist department chair with faculty workloads. Perform other related duties as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the performing arts field and/or office management Salary & Benefits: In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is CWA: Range 09 ($39,681 to $42,990), with placement within the range determined by candidate's qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other factors.
