Position Summary We are seeking a passionate Assistant Teaching Artist to support after-school visual arts programs for middle and high school students. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging educators, practicing artists, or recent art school graduates interested in gaining hands-on teaching experience in a creative, inclusive, and community-based setting.
As an Assistant Teaching Artist, you will collaborate with a Lead Teaching Artist to create a positive, engaging classroom where students can explore their creativity, build confidence, and connect art-making to the world around them.

Compensation & Benefits This is a part-time position. The hourly rate is $17.00 per hour. This position is expected to work Monday through Thursday for a total of 17 hours per week. This position is eligible for 40 hours of paid sick time per year, beginning January 1.
