Ritual4Return, Inc. (R4R) is a nationally recognized, award-winning non-profit arts organization that leads returning citizens (i.e., formerly incarcerated individuals) through a process of creating homecoming rites of passage to mark and celebrate the transition from incarceration back to the community. R4R is seeking 1 or 2 teaching artists to support a group of male returning citizens in crafting and performing their stories in anticipation of their homecoming ritual on May 9, 2026 in Camden, NJ. The ideal candidate is a mature teaching artist with experience working with adults. Experience working with justice-impacted adults a plus but not required. People of all gender identities are welcomed to apply. 

Workshops are held on the Rutgers University-Camden campus on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30pm. Workshop dates are April 9, 16, 23, 30, and May 7. One 10am-5pm technical rehearsal will be held on Sunday, May 3. Final rehearsal before the ritual is from 10am-1pm on Saturday, May 9. (Total commitment: 20 hours.)
