At People’s Light, we believe in the power of storytelling to connect people and create lasting impact. Position Overview If you love theatre and want a behind-the-scenes experience, come join us! We are a nationally renowned, local theatre seeking adaptable, energetic, organized people to work Front of House. In this position, you need to be willing to learn, work with people of all backgrounds, and think on your feet. FOH staff reports to the Front of House and Reports Manager. We offer flexible schedules that will not exceed 29 hours per week. Your own transportation is a plus. We are located one mile from the Malvern stop on the Paoli/Thorndale regional rail line. Assistant House Managers are shift leaders who manage the FOH staff and volunteers, coordinate with stage management, and assist patrons during their visit. Our ideal Assistant House Manager is flexible, calm in emergencies, a creative problem solver, and warm and welcoming to all. Those hired to be Assistant House Managers will train on all shifts and may be scheduled in a position other than manager based on scheduling needs and availability. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position that pays $12/hr for FOH Representative shifts and $15/hr for House Manager shifts. Responsibilities might include:
