Philadelphia Photo Arts Center (PPAC) is hiring a Part-time Bookkeeper.


Philadelphia Photo Arts Center is a nonprofit arts center and exhibition space dedicated to contemporary photographic practice. PPAC offers tuition-based classes and workshops, digital lab rental, and fine art printing, mounting and framing services.  Due to COVID-19, PPAC has moved to online programming.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Update internal forecast and narrative on a monthly basis for Finance Committee
  • Pay PA Sales Tax
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations


  • Must be able to multi-task with attention to details
  • Take on needs and requests as needed
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of Quickbooks, Salesforce and Excel
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and paying state taxes
  • Proven ability to keep all matters highly confidential
  • Consistently professional, calm and positive demeanor
  • Proven ability to communicate articulately and interact effectively with all levels of professionals within the organization
