Wexler Gallery seeks a part time Gallery Administrator to play an integral role in the overall organization and maintenance of the gallery’s systems and operations. Gallery Administrator will work 24 hours per week, preferably Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am - 6pm. 

All candidates should be self-motivated, proactive workers with excellent organizational & problem-solving skills.  Must be extremely detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible, calm and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-faced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills required.  Should possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with gallery clientele. 

Gallery Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day office administration including: database maintenance, filing, ordering office supplies, digital imaging & organization, artwork inventory, posting social media content, and administrative support for all gallery staff. Administrator will also aid Gallery Preparator and Registrar with some artwork moving, packing and installation. 

Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, basic database programs, Photoshop and digital imaging.  Experience with Wordpress and ArtBase a plus.  Prior gallery experience preferred.
