Host tours of our unique historic property during open hours once a week on either Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Or more if it suits you! This volunteer position offers great flexibility and will work with your schedule.

Our complete open season extends from April 4th, 2019 through November 2019 but length of time involved is flexible (i.e you could be a spring, summer, or fall docent).

Clay Camp Intern - Technician

The Clay Studio is seeking eager Clay Camp Interns for the duration of our Summer Camp Series. Clay Camp Technicians are primarily responsible for processing the artwork created in each of our weekly summer camp classes. This includes careful smoothing and numbering of all pieces of artwork, glazing, loading and unloading kilns, as well as packaging finished artwork for pick up. This is a largely "behind-the-scenes" experience, but nonetheless, a critical position in order for Summer Camps to run effectively and efficiently. Extensive training will be provided.

Clay Camp Intern - Assistant

The Clay Studio is seeking eager Clay Camp Interns for the duration of our Summer Camp Series. Clay Camp Assistants are primarily responsible for assisting our lead Teaching Artists with daily lessons for each themed camp. This includes set up, clean up, supplemental instruction, and more. In addition, they must be prepared to entertain and supervise campers, ages 6 through 16, during class time, lunch periods, and periodic breaks. Clay Camp runs Monday through Friday, beginning June 24th through August 30th. Please note that attendance at Clay Camp meetings is also required.
