Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance

Cultural Alliance freezes dues for upcoming membership year

In an effort to be sensitive and responsive to the current economic recession, The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance has announced that it will not institute a dues increase for the upcoming 2010 membership year, which will begin on July 1.

Historically, Cultural Alliance member dues increase a fixed percentage based upon the Consumer Price Index (CPI) during the start of a new membership year. The dues freeze is in line with a series of responsive programming the Cultural Alliance has committed to ensure its member organizations and the arts sector are best positioned to weather the current economic climate.

This programming  has included the co-produced Managing in Turbulent Times workshops, TempCheck, a periodic economic survey of sector and the Alliance's partnership with Career Visions to provide discounted outplacement and career counseling services.
