Curator (FT), Old Barracks Museum

The Curator is a full-time position responsible for the administration and oversight of the Old Barracks Museum’s collection, conducting collections research, and developing new physical and digital exhibits. The Curator supervises the part-time Archivist and works under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Interpretation & Curation to achieve their responsibilities and goals.

Philadelphia Jewish Film and Media (PJFM) is seeking passionate Event Staff to help at the organization’s in-person events. Event Staff will be supervised by PJFM staff and hold a variety of tasks, from event set-up and breakdown, ushering, selling tickets, and distributing and collecting film ballots at the theater.

This is a temporary seasonal position for PJFM’s upcoming programs, including its annual Jewish film and media festival, Fall Fest 2024 (November 14-24), and other special events.

Responsibilities: The Executive Director is the public representative of our four-ensemble program for young instrumentalists who love music and want to see where it can take them! You ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day operations, and work in collaboration with the artistic staff to provide a supportive, challenging, and rewarding ensemble experience for our students. You motivate and lead the staff and board as the GPYO strengthens its partnership with the Westminster Conservatory and builds bridges with others who share our vision for providing training and performance opportunities to our members. You provide structure and direction for new programming and organizational initiatives and play an active role in ongoing board development and strategic planning.

Grounds For Sculpture is seeking part-time, (average of 25 hours per week) Visitor Assistants for our Guest Services Department. The Visitor Assistant reports directly to the Managers of Guest Services.  The Visitor Assistant, Guest Services is responsible for the daily GFS operational procedures and assisting visitors. Their primary responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, selling tickets, enforcing security and safety guidelines and distributing information.

Grounds For Sculpture is seeking a full time Senior Visitor Assistant to join our team. The Senior Visitor Assistant reports directly to the Manager of Guest Services and is responsible for daily Guest Services operational tasks, assisting visitors and providing excellent customer service, working on administrative tasks, training new Guest Service staff  and assisting with events held at GFS.  

The Meyer Family Award for Contemporary Art, presented by Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA in conjunction with the Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition, consists of an award of $1000 and a solo exhibition to each selected artist.
