Position Overview

Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) seeks a strategic and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. This individual will be a seasoned, mission-driven leader with a deep commitment to community, public space stewardship, and collaborative partnerships. The Executive Director will be responsible for guiding FOW’s strategic direction and overseeing its daily operations, programs, partnerships, staff, and volunteers, and ensuring the organization remains financially sustainable, programmatically effective, and aligned with its mission to preserve the Wissahickon Valley.

Position Overview:

Oversees cultivation and stewardship engagement strategies for major donors and corporate donors, including events and communications.  Coordinates the annual Preview Party.  Responsible for a new PHS travel program for individual donors.  Serves as point person for bespoke events, meetings, and other requests for major donors, corporate donors, and institutional funders.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Communications & Digital Content Specialist manages the Center’s principal communications outlets, coordinates and contributes to the development of multimedia content, reviews analytics and tracks performance across online platforms, and advises the CCO on ways to strengthen brand awareness, audience reach, and engagement with content.

Vinylux is looking for a full-time workshop assistant to work in a hands-on environment.  You will assist in creating our unique line of products made from repurposed vinyl records. Tasks include machine fabrication, hand assembly, and packaging. The ideal candidate has art/design training with prior experience in a production environment.

House Managers are the primary points of contact for audience members attending all performances and events at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater and URBN Annex Black Box Theater.  House Managers deliver exemplary customer service, while ensuring both the success of every event as well as the safety of patrons.
