PlayArts: After School Program Staff (Part-Time)

Make a difference in the lives of children through arts-based learning! Join PlayArts in Northeast Philadelphia to provide engaging arts and enrichment programming to children after school, fostering creativity in a supportive and inclusive work environment!

Each year, we send artists to schools throughout the Delaware Valley for long-term, small group music instruction. The program could include: in-school student pull-outs, aiding an existing music teacher during class, or working after school with kids to hone and build music skills. Musicians of all stripes needed, but especially Brass, Woodwind, Guitar, Vocalists, and String instructors. Join our roster of talented artists and be ready to start school programs that fit your schedule. Rates from $30-$50 an hour based on experience.

The Doing Good Co-Teacher role is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are in the early stages of their teaching career and or want to gain hands on teaching experience. 

The Doing Good Co-Teacher supports students at each stage of the Doing Good program. The Co-Teacher ensures all students meet attendance and program requirements including the implementation and completion of their group’s service-learning project. You will work as part of a team that includes other teachers and mentors, and the Manager of Programs and Student engagement on preparing and executing program content and lesson plans. A minimum of two professional development workshops will be required each school year. (Teachers are compensated for professional development activities).
