DiasporaDNA Story Center (DDSC) is seeking educators and teaching artists to join its inaugural Spring 2026 Education Advisory Council (EAC). This council will play a vital role in shaping culturally grounded, community-centered educational experiences rooted in our archives, multicultural festivals, and diaspora storytelling.

Position Summary

The Communications & Content Creator Intern is a hands-on, creative role supporting DiasporaDNA Story Center’s storytelling, digital presence, and community engagement. Reporting to the Founder & President (and working closely with program and partnerships leads), the intern will help execute content across social media, email, and web platforms while gaining real-world experience in cultural communications, archives-based storytelling, and nonprofit brand-building.

The Production Intern will participate in load-ins, load-outs, and running of shows and events on the mainstage as well as in the studio, restaurant, and biergarten. They will also aid the Production department with administrative and maintenance tasks.

This position is available for the Spring 2026 Term with an ASAP start date.

The Programming Intern will assist the Programming Department in meeting the individual and logistical needs of presented and independent artists. This position is ideal for someone with experience in events programming and artist relations, with an interest in contemporary live art on a local and international scale. The Programming Intern often interfaces with artists and as such a knowledge of and curiosity about contemporary performance across the genres of dance, theater, music, comedy, cabaret, and circus is essential.

This role is perfect for a music educator, vocal coach, or experienced performer who enjoys mentoring singers, providing artistic guidance, and shaping musical direction. Noteworthy Philadelphia is seeking a Visual Performance Coordinator to shape the stage presence and movement of our dynamic vocal ensemble. This role is ideal for an early-career creative or recent graduate eager to develop leadership experience in movement direction, staging, and performance aesthetics. You'll work closely with the executive team to enhance live performances and music videos, from expressive stage presence to full choreography for select pieces. This is a volunteer position with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role over time. Must be able to sing and join the group as a performing member.
