Advocacy
The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance is a tireless advocate for arts and culture at the City, State, and Federal levels. Our commitment to this work is evident in our mission statement, which states that the Cultural Alliance will “amplify the voices of the cultural community.” We do this in several ways, such as collaborating with members of our cultural sector to identify and agree upon our policy priorities. We often meet directly with elected officials to discuss legislation that directly impacts the cultural sector, we write letters and encourage our members to write letters and send emails, and when necessary, we mobilize the cultural sector and our allies.
*** Important Update as of 3/9/2026
