Advanced Negotiations Workshop for Arts & Culture Executives

On Thursday, July 17th, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance presented a special workshop and panel discussion with award winning author and Wharton Professor Richard Shell on Advanced Negotiation Techniques for Arts and Cultural Executives.
Richard Shell has designed and taught customized seminars for Google, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, General Electric, Christie's, The World Economic Forum and many more. He has trained negotiators for the FBI and the United States Joint Special Operations Command, including Seal Team 6. He currently teaches the Executive Negotiation Workshop: Bargaining for Advantage® at the Wharton Executive Education program.
Shell kicked of the event with a custom lecture for arts and cultural professionals, presented a case study on negotiation and administered a self-assessment test for all attendees. The presentation was followed by a panel of esteemed professionals from the cultural sector and featured Larry Dubinski, President & CEO at The Franklin Institute, Cathy Cahill, President & CEO at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts and Mark Dichter, Senior Counsel at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Each attendee received a copy of Shell's book Bargaining for Advantage: Negotiation Strategies for Reasonable People.
