Breakfast Roundtable: Is Work-Life Balance Possible in Fundraising?

With an ever-widening gap between expectations and reality in regard to our capacity to get things done, is it any wonder that a recent study showed that job turnover among fundraisers is only 16 months? And while better pay and upward mobility were also listed among the top reasons for leaving an organization, what fundraisers most want is help balancing the pressure of career and family duties.

Please join us at this Roundtable discussion where participants will share real-life stories and learn from discussion leader Jessica DeGroot, president and founder of ThirdPath Institute, that there are "win-win" ways to redesign a demanding job to create more time for life—whether the reason is caring for children, aging parents, community involvement or some other life passion.   Participants will also learn how to identify and overcome obstacles and leave with concrete ideas and action steps.
