Assistant Teaching Artist -  Visual Arts & Youth Development

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate Assistant Teaching Artist to support after-school visual arts programs for middle and high school students. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging educators, practicing artists, or recent art school graduates interested in gaining hands-on teaching experience in a creative, inclusive, and community-based setting.

MusiCoLab seeks a part-time Executive Director to guide the organization through its next stage of development, overseeing daily operations, fundraising, and partnerships, while supporting the board and creative team in advancing the organization’s mission. 

MusiCoLab nurtures new musicals and the artists who create them, cultivating a vibrant community of Philadelphia-based writers and sharing their work with local audiences as part of the wider ecosystem of musical theater development.

Ceramics Technician

Abington Art Center is seeking a Ceramics Technician to work 3-4 days a week for our busy ceramics program. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a ceramics technician in a community studio or school. Or 5+ years experience as a ceramic artist managing a studio. Preference will be given to candidates with strong ceramics technical skills, familiarity with kiln loading and unloading, as well as knowledge of glaze mixing and materials, firing processes, clay bodies, ceramic studio maintenance and practices.

The Administrative Assistant will be providing essential support for daily operations, handling front desk duties, assisting management and supporting the executive team. Tasks include managing correspondence, client interactions, and administrative support. The position requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and intermediate French language proficiency. 

WXPN is seeking a Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator to execute audience engagement initiatives through the oversight of volunteer and student staffing, strategic event marketing support, and community-based outreach. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position plays a central role in shaping WXPN’s presence at station events and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure consistent, well-prepared volunteer support across key initiatives. The Coordinator acts as a frontline steward of the WXPN brand, reinforcing WXPN’s brand presence through staffing, signage, and outreach materials at key events, and also administers the station’s student internship and work-study program.

Technical Director (Seasonal, October - May) - Stipend Role

The Shipley School Theater Department seeks a Technical Director to support five productions across divisions during the 2025 - 2026 school year. This seasonal role will be paid a $4,000-$6,000 per show stipend, based on experience. This person will report to the Theater Producer.

PlayArts: After School Program Staff (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

❖ Igniting students' curiosity about the range of your discipline.

❖ Co-creating with students at least two seasonal showcases over the school year.

❖ Collaborate with other teaching artists and school coordinators to develop a cohesive creative community honoring student voice and choice.

❖ Create and conduct scope and sequence lessons, supplies provided by PAEP.

❖ Supply clearances to work within the Philadelphia School District.

❖ Attend PAEP professional development offerings.

The Exhibitions Program at Philadelphia International Airport presents artwork and collections by Greater Philadelphia-area artists and art institutions to highlight the region’s cultural and historical vibrancy. We are seeking a full-time Art Handler to join our team and manage exhibition installations for more than 20 galleries throughout the terminals.

The Operations Manager at the LEDC oversees Utility Works (a co-working and maker facility), manages external communications, handles accounts payable/receivable, and provides general support to the Executive Director. This role requires energy, attention to detail, community orientation, and a good sense of humor when working with the public.

Key qualifications include:

• Strong arts/graphic design background
• Comfort with major social media platforms
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experience with small businesses and/or artists (preferred)
